I loved this book! I would love for everyone to read it. The story is touching, the writing is beautiful, the characters are believable and loveable. The Blind Contessa's New Machine is set in early 19th century Italy. It is fiction, but based on the invention of the typewriter. Carolina is a young woman who loves nature and beauty.
